Jane Blanchard talks with Alex
Coe,
owner of Gentle Storm Productions. Alex Coe is with
Alliance for Peace in Sarasota. After attending the Peace Alliance
conference
in D.C. in March, Alex returned to Sarasota to work with local
nonviolence
organizations and to find ways for existing organizations to work
together for
maximum impact.

Castiglia Russ – Flutistperformed in the University
Symphony
Orchestra since her freshman year, and competed in the University's
2004
Concerto Competition, winning praise from Aaron Goldman, principal
flutist of
the Orlando Philharmonic. Proficient in both flute and piccolo, Maureen
was
honored to perform in the Orlando Opera's 2004 performance of Luisa
Fernanda. A
scholarship student of Dr. Jean West at Stetson University, Maureen has
also
enjoyed the privilegeof
working with
some of the world's most prominent flutists, including Amy Porter,
Mathieu
Dufour, Tim Hutchins, Marina Puccinini, Renee Siebert and Jeanne
Baxtresser,
(former principal flute of the New York Philharmonic).
